    Monday Night: General Meeting & Armoured Combat Training!

    At the Monday Night Meetings you will find all sorts of activities going on. Typically there will be Armoured Combat AKA Heavy Fighting Training and Arts & Sciences activity. Newcomers are most welcome.

    When:

    Monday nights:- Hall opens at 7.30pm & activities run until 10pm, followed by clean up duties.

    Loaner Combat Gear for Newcommer's:-

    Arrowsearch has 3 full suits of armour (small to medium) which is available free of charge for new people to experience full contact medieval combat (Heavy Fighting). The loaner gear is in demand, but new people have priority. After some basic training and when our safety officers think you are ready, you will get to experience the thrills of full contact medieval combat. Warning - it is addictive.

    What to Bring:

    Guys:- One item of armour which is not shared is groin protection. (Sporting cup) so bring your own and boots.

    What not to Bring:

    As in any martial art training environment you will have participates of different levels of expertise and skill. To ensure an enjoyable learning environment we expect participates with more experience to take it easier on the less experienced combatants. Egos are best left at home.

    Cost:

    • Single Member: $5 per week or $15 per month.
    • Single Non-Member: $7 per week or $20 per month.
    • Family of members: $7 per week or $20 per month.
    • Family of non-members: $10per week or $25 per month.
    • Newcomers receive the first 2 nights free.
    • Visitors promoting and taking bookings for an upcoming SCA event are most welcome and are not expected to pay entry.
