Metal Casting

Over the last couple of years I have been dabbling in metal casting. Metals include Pewter, Copper, and Aluminium.

At Canterbury Fair in 2006 a NZ knight, Sir Sebastian vom dem
Schwarzwald, taught a class on making soapstone molds and casting with Pewter. After seeing this I was hooked.

These pages will cover some stuff that I find interesting, or more importantly, the stuff that I am currently doing at home for fun.

My current focus is Linux USB stuff, which leads into My Webcams

My laptop is the Asus M5N running Kubuntu 7.04. It's really small and light weight, with great battery life, and everything working except the RICOH card reader.
